Attorney Francis M. Donnarumma was born in Waterbury, Connecticut.
He attended public elementary school and thereafter the Fairfield College Preparatory
School (1971), Fairfield University (1975) and the Columbus School of Law at the
Catholic University of America (1978).

Upon admission to the Bar in 1978, Attorney Donnarumma entered private practice.
During his early years of practice, he was active within the Waterbury Jaycees, serving as
President and receiving its Man of the Year Award. He participated upon the Board of
Directors of a group home for at risk girls, becoming President of the board; served upon
the Board of the Mattatuck Museum, was an active member of the parish counsel of his
church, and was instrumental in reviving the Waterbury Arts Festival with a colleague.
Attorney Donnarumma served as corporation counsel for the City of Waterbury from
1986 through 1991. For a period of nearly five years, he served as general counsel
to a large commercial development company within the State of Connecticut.

Presently, Attorney Donnarumma remains an active community member, participating
in the building committee of his local church, the National Italian American Foundation,
and as a member of the American Bar Association, Connecticut Bar Association,
and Waterbury, Connecticut Bar Association.

Attorney Donnarumma resides in Woodbury, Connecticut with his spouse and four
children.

Sheila E. Caruso has worked as a real estate paralegal for over 24 years. She brings a level of expertise, experience and knowledge to our real estate clients. Sheila has a close working relationship with several area mortgage brokers, real estate agents and works closely with local mortgage departments and larger banking institutions enabling The Donnarumma Law Firm, LLC to better serve it clients.

Sheila works closely with Attorney Donnarumma to ensure that contracts are executed, contingencies are met, adjustment figures are obtained and calculated properly and assures that your closing process goes smoothly and easily. Sheila prides herself on personal contact with the clients and returns phone calls in a prompt manner to make the process of closing more comfortable for the borrowers, sellers and purchasers. Much of the process of preparing for closing can be handled by a paralegal unless a legal issue or dispute arises which needs the “legal advice” of any attorney and Sheila would work closely with Attorney Donnarumma if such an occasion arose.

In addition to being the real estate paralegal, Sheila is also the office manager for the firm and handles the billing and management the office. Sheila is a graduate of Post University in Waterbury.

Leslie Davis is a Waterbury resident and a graduate of J.F. Kennedy High School. She is pursuing an associate degree in Legal Assistant/Paralegal Studies at Naugatuck Valley Community College. Leslie works under the supervision of our paralegal Sheila E. Caruso and her duties include scheduling closings, requesting payoffs, disbursing closings, preparing closings documents for sales, purchases, and refinances. In addition, we perform all of our Release Tracking in house and Leslie works diligently with lenders to obtain releases in a timely manner.
